Kazak rugs originate from the south Caucasus, in an area ranging between Tiflis and Erevan. They are associated with the geographical area, rather than being identified as having been woven by any particular tribe. Compared to other Oriental rugs, their pile is short, the result of an antique stone washing tradition, which also causes them to fade. The colors are typically blue, red, green, and cream. The designs are either large, bold geometric shapes or smaller, detailed motifs.
We are always happy to collaborate with you on a custom carpet that meets all your specifications...and your wildest dreams! Of course, it will be woven on our very own looms with the best materials under the supervision of our experts.
